Only fools walk into dark alleys, unarmed. Yet many invest in things and ideas they know nothing about.
They sign contracts without reading the fine print properly. They sign leases without taking out insurance policies. And they marry without prenuptial or post-nuptial agreements.
I am not saying you shouldn’t have faith in, love or trust people. I am saying people are fickle at best. And if institutions do not walk blindly into relationships with people, you shouldn’t either.
