When people walk away

When people walk out on you for any reason, never assume they left because of you, no. They left because of them.

You see, somewhere in the course of interacting with you, they reached a conclusion that you weren’t what they were looking for in a friend, spouse, client, business partner or confidant. And that someone, somewhere might provide them a better alternative.

True or not, it was their conclusion, not yours. And sad as it may be to see them go, understand that it had nothing to do with you.
