Age is a social construct designed to tell people what they can or cannot do, with the passage of time.
Many of us internalize this social construct and commit two distinct acts of violence against ourselves and others.
First, we write ourselves off as either being ‘too young’ or ‘too old’ to actualize our goals and dreams. Second, we write off others by being ageist. If you think of it critically, as has been popularized, age is just numbers. However, how we associate with the numbers will either enhance or limit our lives.
