Focus on what is timeless.
The problem with many of us is that we are easily distracted by the media, social trends and everyday happenstances that we get strung along like puppets.
If you want to manage the anxiety, anger and sadness that often afflict people, from the external, turn to the timeless. Truth, for example, is timeless. If you turn to the truth about the situation with which you are currently emoting, it would give you the calmness required to get through it.
