Serve others

If you want the rest of your year to be the best of your year, serve people.

Go out of your way today and look for someone to serve in any capacity. Give a smile, write an encouraging message to someone you know or give some money to a random stranger on the street. Practice serving someone—anyone—with your kindness.

As Benjamin Franklin said, “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of someone else.” You will find that your self-worth is bolstered by your capacity to meet the needs of others. Frankly, if you want to be happy, serve.
