A rule with people

Not very many people like you, on a personal note. And it’s not that they don’t want to like you. It’s just that they don’t know you enough, so be kind and forgiving.

To these people, you are always too…[fill in the blanks]. And it’s fine because another person’s opinion of you doesn’t have to be your reality.

One rule you might consider trying in your different relationships is, “if your absence isn’t missed, then your presence is a joke.” This way, you know what to do.
