Pain is progress

In many cases, which may take a while for some people to come to terms with, they stay stuck in a loop of daily routines simply because it’s comfortable. It’s the job they hate or the painful decision put off by the fear of being hurt.

Comfort is a greater enemy to your progress than pain. If you let it, comfort will level you and keep you permanently seduced away from your hopes and dreams. It would give you an unsteady salary in exchange for a lifetime of success and admiration of your children. It would give you a regular life when you could have lived at the swankiest places in your imagination.

When it comes to being comfortable, flee. Embrace pain and suffering because if you are going to lead a meaningful life, pain is progress.
