“Then” and “there” are two great deceptions and stiflers of action.
When you hear people use these words as in, “back then” or “over there,” it’s a steady reminder that their minds aren’t in the right place.
Life is in constant flux which is why you could miss many beautiful moments and opportunities if you don’t have your mind set on “now.”
If you only think and talk about “then,” your mind situates itself in the past, in happy or sad memories, crippling you from taking momentary opportunities.
If you only think and talk about “there,” then you’ll have your head in the clouds, filled with lofty daydreams that never get actualized.
As enticing as these two might be because of the safety both offer, “now” is always at hand. “Now” is fact. “Now” is expressed by the present-continuous tense like do-ing, talk-ing or work-ing. “Now” is all you have. The others, “then” and “there” are just lies.
